Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply for our mutual protection in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act launched on 1 April 2011 in South Africa.
These terms and conditions are applicable to all my social networking / online and offline activity :
A. UNSUBSCRIBING
1. All trainees are signed up for a weekly tips and tricks newsletter. At the bottom of every newsletter is the option to unsubscribe.
2. To unsubscribe from my
blog or Lets Collaborate
RSS /subscribe feeds, go to Outlook and right click on the feed, then click Delete Folder, and confirm the action.
3. To unsubscribe from following me on
LinkedIn, go to your profile, then Contacts, My Connections, Remove Connections. Names are sorted alphabetically by surname, go the P's and tick the box next to my name, and Remove Connections.
4. To stop following me on Twitter, click on my
profile and Unfollow. (Have a second
company profile which has not been activated yet).
5. To stop following me on Focus, click on my
profile and Unfollow.
6. To unfriend me from Facebook, go to my
profile and click the Unfriend option at the bottom on the menu bar on the left.
B. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENGAGEMENTS
1. As all training is carried out onsite, a room is required with a projector and whiteboard / flipchart and board pens.
2. All delegates are to have a workstation / laptop connected to the network in order to access your environment and do the practicals for the training.
3. All workstations / laptops are required to have Office 2007 or Office 2010 and Internet Explorer 7 or higher in order for the delegates to efficiently complete the practicals.
4. A default team site with unique permissions is required for each training session with each delegate added as a site owner. It is preferable to create a seperate site collection for training purposes if the engagement is a long term one.
5. All lunch / tea an coffee / water costs are to be covered by the client.
6. Training can be conducted outside of the Jhb / Pta region, but all travel costs are for the client's account.
7. Training and consulting hours are from 09:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday.
8. Any quotes supplied are valid for 6 months from date of issue.
9. Payment terms for long term engagements are strictly 7 days, invoices are issued monthly for work completed in that month. Interest of 20% will be charged thereafter.
10. One invoice will be issued per company per engagement with a break down of delegates listed in the invoice.
11. Payment for once off engagements are due the day before the commencement of the training.
12. Should delegates cancel 4 working days or less before the commencement of the training, the full course fees will still be applicale. This is because I cannot get 10 people together on such short notice with alternative clients due to the nature of business.
13. Once a meeting request is sent by the client and accepted by Veronique Palmer, the engagement is deemed as booked and all terms and conditions come into force.
14. Should courses be cancelled by Lets Collaborate, a full refund will be affected within one working day if the fees have already been paid.
15. As all engagements are carried out onsite, all facilities are the responsibility of the client. Lets Collaborate cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury or damages sustained by the delegates while attending the training, meeting, demo, consultation or workshop at the client's premises.
16. Lets Collaborate strives to give the best advice to each delegate attending courses, workshops, demo's, etc. The knowledge shared is gained from my own working experience, attending courses, attending and speaking at international conferences, and constantly researching and using SharePoint over more than 4 years. However, all delegates are ultimately responsible for their own research and decisions regarding SharePoint and Lets Collaborate takes no responsibility for those decisions made.
17. Your full account history is available to you at any time on request.
18. All prices are indicated on the Prices page - there are no other hidden costs.
20. A full list of all the companies and services I engage with to conduct my business is available on request.
21. I do not require public liability cover at this stage due to the nature of my business. My business is conducted onsite at the client, I do not supply products, workmanship nor manage a fleet of vehicles; and do no bodily injury to persons or damage to physical property.
22. All my social networking sites fully disclose my identity - Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Fan Pages, Focus, Youtube and blog.
22. Please be advised that I am usually fully booked 3 months in advance. Should you require my services, please plan accordingly and book timeously.
23. All customer complaints will be handled by Veronique Palmer. Should a complaint be lodged, it will be addressed and resolved within one working day. Please email any disatisfaction / complaints to Veronique.
24. Lets Collaborate prides itself on exemplary service at all times. Nothing but the very best will do. I have a very high work and moral ethic and expect the same from any future employees.
C. AUTHORITY
1. Lets Collaborate is solely owned by Veronique Palmer.
2. All social network accounts listed above are managed solely by Veronique Palmer.
3. Lets Collaborate is still a sole proprietorship at this stage.
